MTAA WELCOMES AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY INQUIRY FINAL REPORT AND URGES GOVERNMENT TO ACT ON RECOMMENDATIONS
The Motor Trades Association of Australia Limited (MTAA) today welcomed the tabling in Parliament of the final report of the Senate Economics Reference Committee Inquiry into the Australian automotive industry.
MTAA Chairman, Neville Gibb congratulated and thanked Senators and the Committee Secretariat on the year-long inquiry and final report, arguably the most comprehensive inquiry ever undertaken by Parliament into the whole of the Australian automotive industry.
‘MTAA supports all the recommendations and urges government to take full advantage of the work that has been undertaken and use the recommendations to help lay the foundations for an ongoing vibrant, successful and sustainable automotive industry Mr Gibb said.
