The peak body for Australia’s 70,000 retail motor trades businesses has called on Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to immediately reassure industry that his September Jobs Summit will not be distracted or diluted by other issues.
A decision has been made by the Motor Trades Association of Australia (MTAA) to appoint Mr Stephen Jenkins, General Counsel and Head of Employment Relations for the Motor Traders' Association of New South Wales, as an MTAA representative on the Motor Vehicle Insurance and Repair Industry Code of Conduct Administration Committee (CAC).
The Motor Trades Association of Australia (MTAA) and the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI) are working on a comprehensive business plan to deliver a road map for an end of life vehicles recycling scheme under the National Product Stewardship Program.
